All across America people are tired of Confederate monuments they’re bringing them down it’s time we bring this one down in old town.

After former Mayor Barry (who Some say fraudulently built The art program for insider gain) destroyed all of central for busses that have proven to be experimental, the lanes and A.R.T infrastructure just uselessly sits there.It would be nice if the people could get their money back or if somebody could pay or be punished for this worthless system on the backs of Albuquerque residents.

There has been no other presidency that has shown so much negativity,bad decisions and fraudulent behavior than the Trump presidency.Not only has this administration lied to the American people, attacked our media calling them fake news and has had more administrative layoffs than any other administration;it has as the Mueller report states possibly committed election fraud.This administration may not even be legitimate. And also Trump could possibly face jail time after his possible impeachment.No other presidency has had so much controversy so much classless behavior than this administration which truly is an embarrassment for the American people.And finally after attacking our our press,after possibly colluding with Russia, after embracing dictators of the world;what makes this president even worse is it’s America first nationalist policy with some people call racist white nationalism.Trumps nationalist isolationism is what makes it worse;that’s what makes this the darkest administration in American history.

Many Americans have grown tired of the conservative parties “Nationalist” agenda and have voted in democrats to the U.S. House of representatives.Victory in the house of representatives will bring many changes for the GOP, including amendments to protect Mueller while he draws near to filing charges in the Trump Involved Russian Collusion investigation,as well as dismantling the “Nationalist” Agenda.

True American hero John McCain passed away last week he lead a life of heroism board of the Navy Admiral us he was a sailor and  Navy fighter pilot, one of the best that the world has seen. McCain was also a senator from Arizona that improved his state and the country every day.John McCain contributed to this country every day and he was a true hero.Many say we would be better off if he was sitting in the oval office instead of who is sitting there now.

Albuquerque  Mayor Tim Keller has written into law that possession of less than 1 oz of marijuana in the city is legal.This is a big move for the city,closely following the steps of cities in Colorado and California.Although marijuana is pretty much legalized its not completely,citizens can still be civilly fined $25 dollars at the officers discretion.

Crime is out of control in New Mexico. Property crimes in Albuquerque are the
highest in the nation and violent crimes are increasing at an alarming rate. Crime,
particularly related to drug abuse, is rampant in communities throughout the state.
It seems like every night brings news of some horrible crime in our communities.
But, ironically, we know how to effectively fight this problem and we have the ability
to fix it. The question is whether, in this next legislative session, we have the will to
fix it.
Over the past several months I have talked to persons involved in every part of the
criminal justice/public safety community – across the political spectrum. There is a
consensus on how to solve the problem- address the entire criminal justice system,
from early childhood intervention, to law enforcement, to prosecution and defense,
to courts and corrections, and to behavioral health. Simply adding more police
officers and prosecutors and increasing criminal penalties will not solve the
problem.
For example, corrections, although rarely talked about, is suffering under an
incredible strain. At the Sandoval County Detention Center, where almost 500
dangerous prisoners are kept, the starting salary for corrections officers is
$13.25/hour. Not surprisingly, they are having a problem both hiring and keeping
officers. Even the jail itself is in very poor condition. We will need substantial
resources just to make it secure. These substandard jails exist all over the state.
But the biggest and most challenging problem is our mental health care system and
lack of substance abuse treatment facilities. Our behavioral health care system has
been decimated. People with, or at risk for, mental illness and substance abuse often
have nowhere to go. As a result, MDC (the jail on the west side of Albuquerque) is
now the largest provider of mental health therapy in the state. Once the inmate is
released both the individual and the community are now at risk.
The citizens of New Mexico need more and better paid police officers, prosecutors,
public defenders, judges, court staff, corrections officers, pre-trial service providers,
and early childhood intervention, particularly at schools, and at behavioral health
and substance abuse treatment centers.
All of this costs money, but we have the money. There is over $20 billion in the
state’s permanent funds (money the state receives from royalties, fees and sales).
Using only one-half percent of those funds annually and without reducing the
money in those funds, $100 million each year will be available to establish a
criminal justice and public safety fund to significantly reduce crime in New Mexico.
This is the right thing to do. For example, what if a family has a large amount of
money in savings. The parents are saving this money for their future grandchildren.
But their kids are starving, not safe, and the house is falling down. Of course, parents
would willingly spend some of the interest on this money to solve the problem in
front of them.

If public safety is truly a priority for our communities – which it should be – then
our budget needs to reflect that reality. Crime affects everything – the safety of our
citizens, the reputation of our state and economic development. The permanent
funds are for our future generations. However, in failing to address this crisis now,
we are already affecting future generations by allowing crime to gain a devastating
foothold and by permitting the continued downward spiral of our economy.
It is time to solve this problem. The challenge is to spend the public’s money wisely
and efficiently. Through audits and constant monitoring this could be done. It is a
challenge that we should be up to. Let’s do this. Ask your legislators to support this
concept or come up with another solution.

After Driving down Central Avenue and Seeing The A.R.T transit project come together;I noticed that the design seems to be precariously dangerous. Since the stations for A.R.T are in the middle of central avenue,users have to cross the street a major intersections to get to the buss stop,and since A.R.T is basically an two way bus lane down the middle of the street,people might use those lanes to get around when there no buses ;Like when I saw a lady walking down the empty lane with luggage.This project has had a lot of questionable things about it since the beginning,hopefully nobody will get hurt I know our pocket books are.

In the new age of technology it is hard to imagine the full extent of the potential problems that will occur from our innovative future. For instance, what happens when drones become more popular and and evasive to help carry out harmful crimes. This could lead to a scary outcomes. 

Are we going to need more security than before ? How will society deal with our new devices. Keep in mind most of our new technology has come from relatively recent breakthroughs, so it is hard to tell what truly lies ahead.

All I know is to Keep your eyes peeled and think smarter not harder, because the future is here and without a higher power it is hard to imagine the possible devastation yet to come.
